Given:-

  • Base of triangular surface = 10m
  • Height of triangular surface = 4m

To find:-

  • The area of triangle

Solution:-

BaSe = 10m and height = 4m

Area of triangle =

 \frac{1}{2} \times base \times height \\ \\ = \frac{1}{2} \times 10 \times 4 \\ \\ = 5 \times 4 \\ \\ 20m

Therefore,the area of triangle = 20m

Given-

  • Hieght of triangular surface=4 cm
  • Base of triangular surface=10 cm

To Find-

  • Area of triangular surface

Formula to be use-

  • Area of traingle= \frac{1}{2} \times base \times hieght

Step-by-step solution-

Area =

 \frac{1}{2} \times base \times hieght

 \frac{1}{2} \times 10 \times 4

 \frac{1}{2} \times 40

  20 \: sq \: cm

hence, area of the triangular surface is 20 cm²
