height =24cm
radius =14÷2=7cm
slant height=L=?
L2=R2+H2
L2=72 +242
L2=49+576
L2=625
L=25

VOLUME=1÷3×22÷7×7×24
VOLUME=1232CM

CURVED SURFACE AREA =22÷7×7×25
CURVED SURFACE AREA =550

TOTAL SURFACE AREA=22÷7×7×25+7
TOTAL SURFACE AREA =704CM

Given

Height of a cone is 24 cm

And base is 14cm diameter

To find

Slant height, Volume, Area  of curved surface and total surface area of the cone

Solution

This mathematical solution can be easily solved using the following method

l^{2} = ( r^{2} + h^{2} ) = 7^{2} + 24^{2}

 = ( 49 + 576)  = 625

∴ l = √625 = 25cm

Curved surface area (πrl) = ( \frac{27}{7} × 7 × 25 ) cm^{2} = 550cm^{2}

Volume = 1/3 × \frac{27}{7} ×7 × 24 = 1232cm^3

Total Surface area = \frac{27}{7} ×7 × 25 + 7 = 704 cm

Hence, the volume, CSA, TSA, and Slant height is 1232cm^3, 550cm^{2} , 704 cm and 25cm
