for original cone height = 40 radius =r
for the small cone height = h radius =r1
now, r1/r=h/40 h=40 x r1/ r
vol of small cone / vol of original cone =1/64
through substituting values in the formula we get
r1 sq. x h /r sq. x 40 =1/64 then substitute value of h in formula
r1 cube/ r cube = 1/64
r1/ r= 1/4
now h= 40/ 4 = 10cm
for the small cone height = h radius =r1
now, r1/r=h/40 h=40 x r1/ r
vol of small cone / vol of original cone =1/64
through substituting values in the formula we get
r1 sq. x h /r sq. x 40 =1/64 then substitute value of h in formula
r1 cube/ r cube = 1/64
r1/ r= 1/4
now h= 40/ 4 = 10cm
