Answer:

Length of the Cylinder

= Height of the Cylinder = 80 cm

Diameter = 7 cm

Radius = 7 / 2 cm

∴ Total Surface Area of the Cylinder

= 2Πr(r + h)

= [ 2 × 22 / 7 × 7 / 2 (7 / 2 × 80) ] cm²

= [ 22 × ( 167 / 2 ) ] cm²

= [ 11 × 167 ] cm²

= 1,837 cm²

Hence, the total surface area of the cylinder is 1,837 cm²

Given

height = 80 cm

diameter = 7 cm , radius = diameter / 2 = 7/2 = 3.5 so radius = 3.5

area of cylinder = 2. pai .radidus ( radius + height )

= 2 ( 22 / 7 ) ( 3.5 ) { ( 3.5 + 80 ) }

I have given you the hint .

now, you can solve further.
