the height of a new truck is 1.5m. A drum of 200kg mass is to be lifted on it using an inclined plane. the effort applied is 1500N parallel to the plank and the force of friction is 250N.calculate M.A,V.R,and efficiency of the plank as a machine as an inclined plane and also calculate the lenght of the plank

efficiency = (work output / work input) x 100%

efficiency = ([load force x load distance] x [effort force x effort distance]) x 100%

efficiency = (500 N x 1.0 m) / (100 N x 10 m) x 100%

efficiency = (500 N x m / 1000 N x m) x 100%

efficiency = 0.5 N x 100%

efficiency = 50%

Equilibrium of a Body on a Rough Inclined Plane Subjected to a Force Acting ... Efficiency, Mechanical Advantage and Velocity Ratio of a Lifting Machine 10.12. ...... Using Lami's theorem, or otherwise, determine the forces in the strings AC ...... The coefficient of friction between the underside of the body and the plank is 0.3.
