Given :

The height of parallelogram,

= 3 \ dm

As we know,

1 \ dm=10 \ cm

Now,

Height,

= 3\times 10=30 \ cm

The Area of parallelogram,

= 240 \ cm^2

To Find :

The base of parallelogram = ?

Solution :

As we know,

The Area of parallelogram = base × height

On putting the given values in the above formula, we get

240=base\times 30\\\\base=\frac{240}{30} \\\\base=8 \ cm

The base of parallelogram is "8 cm".
