The height of a parallelogram is one - third of its base. If the area is 108 cm^2 , find the base and height.​

Answer:

Let the height be x.

Base = 3x

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

Given area = 108 cm²

=> 3x × x = 108

=> 3x² = 108

=> x² = 108/3

=> x² = 36

=> x = 6

Hence, height = 6 cm.

Base = 3×6 cm = 18 cm
