Let the base of the parallelogram be x
and the height= 3/8x
Area of the parallelogram= 96 cm^2
Since ar. of a parallelogram= 1/2×base×height
Therefore,
96= 1/2×x×3/8x
96= 3/16x^2
x^2= 96×16/3
x^2= 512
x= (512)^1/2
x= 16(2)^1/2
Therefore the base= 16(2)^1/2
Height= 3/8×16(2)^1/2= 6(2)^1/2

Let the base of the parallelogram be x

and the height= 3/8x

Area of the parallelogram= 96 cm^2

Since ar. of a parallelogram= 1/2×base×height

Therefore,

96= 1/2×x×3/8x

96= 3/16x^2

x^2= 96×16/3

x^2= 512

x= (512)^1/2

x= 16(2)^1/2

Therefore the base= 16(2)^1/2

Height= 3/8×16(2)^1/2= 6cm
