Given :
Height of a right circular cone = 12 cm
Volume = 1000 cm³
Find the radius of the right circular cone :-
Volume of cone = ⅓ πr²h
=> 1000 = ⅓ × 22/7 × r² × 12
=> (1000 × 3 × 7)/(22 × 12)= r²
=> 79.55 = r²
=> √79.55 = r = 8.92
Now,
Find the slant height (l) :-
l² = r² + h²
=> l² = (8.92)² + (12)²
=> l² = 79.55 + 144
=> l = √223.55 = 14.95
Hence,
Slant height = 14.95 cm
