height of the cube=9m
diameter =24m
radius =diameter÷2
=24÷2=12m
slant height(l)=?
l sq.=r sq. +H sq.
=12 sq.+ 9 sq.
=144+81
=225
therefore l sq.=225 m
l
slant height (l)=15m
lateral surface area of a tent=πrl
=3.14× 12 ×15
=3.14×180
=251.20 sq.m
total surface area of the tent=πr(l+r)
=3.14×12(15+12)
=3.14×27
=84.78 sq.m
volume of tent= 1/3π r sq. h
=1/3 ×3.14×12 sq.×9
=3.14×144×3
=3.14×432
=135648 cu.m
