Base= 60cm

Area=600cm²

 \sf Area =  \frac{h \times b}{2}

 =  > 600 =  \frac{60 \times h}{2}

 \sf =  >  \frac{600 \times 2}{60}  = h

 \sf 10 \times 2 = h = 20

So height of given triangle is 20cm

Explanation:

Given :

base of a triangle =60cm

area of a triangle=600 cm^2

To Find :

Height of a triangle ??

\bold{\boxed{Area \: of \: a \: Triangle =  \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height}}

 =  >  \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h = 600

 =  > 60 \times h = 1200

 =  > h =  \frac{1200}{60}  = 20

Therefore,Height of a triangle is 20cm

Some properties of Triangle:

  • A triangle is a three dimensional figure which have 3 sides 3 vertices and sum of angle is 180°
  • A triangle ∆ABC have 3 angles which is denoted as ∠A ,∠B and ∠C respectively.
