Area of field= Cost/Rate= 6400/400 = 1600 hectares
Let base be b therefore h = 2b
Area of triangle= 1/2*b*h
1600=1/2*b*2b
1600=b²
b=40
Therefore,
Base =40 hectares
Height= 80 hectares

aditya743: no
aditya743: answer is 400m and 800m
hpkagr494: The answer is in which unit
aditya743: holiday assignment
hpkagr494: Oh sorry hectare is the unit of area...so if you will convert it into m you will get the answer
aditya743: OK
hpkagr494: 1 hectare = 10000m²
hpkagr494: Please apply it
aditya743: OK
aditya743: I am going to do it.

Answer:

Base = 400 m and Height = 800 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Height of field = 2 × Base

           Cost of cultivating 1 hectare = Rs. 400

          Total Cost of cultivating = Rs. 6400

To find: Base & Height

We know that  1 hectare = 10000 m²

Let x be the length of base

Height = 2x

cost of 1 hectare = Rs. 400

cost of 10000 m² = Rs. 400

cost of 1 m² = Rs. 0.04

Total cost of cultivating = 6400

400 × Area of Field = 6400

0.04\times\frac{1}{2}\times x\times2x=6400

0.04\times x^2=6400

x^2=\frac{6400}{0.04}

x^2=160000

x=\sqrt{160000}

x = 400 m

height = 2 × 400 = 800 m

Therefore, Base = 400 m and Height = 800 m
