Height of equilateral triangle = root3 × a / 2

=> 6 = root3 a / 2

=> a = 12 / root3

=> a = 2root3

Area = root3 × ( 2root3)^2 / 4

= root3 × 4 × 3 /4

= 3 root3 cm^2

gaurav2013c: 4 is upon the numerator
ray654: step
ray654: thank you bro
ray654: I understood the whole sum
ray654: so the answer is
ray654: 6root3cm^2
ray654: right
gaurav2013c: 12 root3 cm^2
ray654: right
ray654: thanks again
