  • Let height=h=6 cm
  • let side of the triangle=a cm

as it is an equilateral triangle value of each angle= let, y

where y=60¤

so by definition

tan 60¤ = h/(a/2)= 2h/a

or, a= 2h/tan 60¤

or, a= (2×6)/tan 60¤= 6.93 cm
