The heightof a parallelogram is one-third of its base. if the area of the parallelogram is 512 cm find the base and the height.

yeah the height of the parallelogram is one third of its base .
height = \frac{1}{3}x
AREA OF PARALLELOGRAM=512sqcm
.............................(GIVEN)
WE KNOW THAT,
AREA OF PARALLELOGRAM=
base × height
512 = x \times \frac{1}{3}x
512 = x \times \frac{x}{3}
512 = \frac{ {x}^{2} }{3}
512 \times 3 = {x}^{2}
1536 = {x}^{2}
x=16√6cm
BASE=16√6cm
height=1/3×base
=1/3×16√6
height =5.33√6cm
