Hello Dear.
Here is the answer---
Let the total score of the team be x.
∴ Score of the Team A = 7/16 of x.
= 7x/16
Remaining Score = x - 7x/16
= (16x - 7x)/16
= 9x/16
∴ Score of the team B = 7/24 of the 9x/16
= 7/24 × 9x/16
= 21x/128
Now,
Score of the Team A - Score of the Team B = 70
⇒ 7x/16 - 21x/128 = 70
⇒ 56x - 21x = 70 × 128
⇒ 35x = 70 × 128
⇒ x = 2 × 128
⇒ x = 256
∴ Total Score of the Team is 256.
Hope it helps.
Here is the answer---
Let the total score of the team be x.
∴ Score of the Team A = 7/16 of x.
= 7x/16
Remaining Score = x - 7x/16
= (16x - 7x)/16
= 9x/16
∴ Score of the team B = 7/24 of the 9x/16
= 7/24 × 9x/16
= 21x/128
Now,
Score of the Team A - Score of the Team B = 70
⇒ 7x/16 - 21x/128 = 70
⇒ 56x - 21x = 70 × 128
⇒ 35x = 70 × 128
⇒ x = 2 × 128
⇒ x = 256
∴ Total Score of the Team is 256.
Hope it helps.
