Total turkey boxes = 96
In one container , either 9 big boxes or 10 small boxes may be kept.
So,
Number of containers for only big boxes(if 96 boxes were big) would have been
   =96/8=12
But, it is said that both big and small boxes are present. Hence , in order to distribute the boxes evenly in containers, we cannot have a decimal number of containers.
Hence, number of containers is a whole number.
If we were to distribute them, we could have said =
   8(big boxes) *2 (number of containers) + 10 (small boxes) * 8  = 96
So we would have used, 12 containers, but again it is said that the number of big boxes are more than that of small boxes.
So,
If we take,
7 containers each for 8 big boxes which makes 56
4 containers each for 10 small boxes which makes 40
So, 56+40 = 96
Hence total number of containers used = 7+4= 11(Ans)
