AB is the taller tower = 150 m
Distance between two towers = CB = DE = 60 m.
Let height of the small tower = h m
In ΔADE,
tan 30 = ( 150 - h) / 60
1/ √3 = (150 - h) / 60
150 - h = 20√3
h = 150 + 20√3.
∴ Height of the smaller tower = 150 + 20√3.
