Given :-

The hypotenuse of a right angle is 65 cm if one of its sides is 60 cm.

To Find :-

Length of the other side

Solution :-

We know that

  • H² = P² + B²
  • (65)² = (60)² + B²
  • 4225 = 3600 + B²
  • 4225 - 3600 = B²
  • 625 = B²
  • √(625) = B
  • 25 = B

Hence,

Other side is 25 cm
