Given :
Hyp = 17cm
Base = 8cm

Solution:
Using Pythagoras theorem,
(hyp)^2=(Base)^2+Height^2
(17)^2=(8)^2+height^2
289=64=height^2
Height=√289-64
Height=√225
Height=15cm

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN:We have a Right Angle Triangle,whose

hypotneuse is 17cm,

base is 8 cm.

TO FIND:Height

SOL:. We have Pythagorous theorm

   Hypotneuse²=base²+height²

   ⇒ (17)²=(8)²+(h)²

   ⇒289=64+h²

   ⇒289-64=h²

   ⇒225=h²

   ⇒√225=h

   ⇒15 cm=h
