625-225=x*x
400=x*x
x=20cm

Given: Hypotenuse of a triangle=25cm
One of the remaining two sides is 15cm,

To find: The length of third side,..

By applying pythagoras theorem,
we get,

Let the third side be x
(Length of hypotenuse)²=(other side)²+(third side)²
                                    25²=15²+x²                
                                  625 =225+x²
                                      x²=400
                                      x=20 cm
∴The length of the third side is 20cm.
