The income of B is 5000 Rs.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the income of person A = 6x

The income of person B = 5x

Also let the expenditure of A = 5y

Let the expenditure of B = 3 y

Now according to the question:

6x - 5y = 3500 ----(1)  (x  3)

5x - 3y = 3500 -----(2)  (x  5)

18x - 15 y = 10500

25x - 15 y = 17500

After subtracting

X = 1000

Now substituting x in equation (1)

6x - 5y = 3500

6000 - 5y = 3500

75 y = 2500

y = 2500 / 75 = 500

Now income of B = 5x = 5 x 1000 = 5000 Rs

Thus the income of B is 5000 Rs.
