The income of a man is increased in the ratio 10:11
old income of a man is 10x
new income of the man is 11x
so, \: \frac{old \: income}{new \: income} = \frac{10x}{11x} .........(1)

If the increase in his income is Rs 600 per month
 \frac{old \: income}{new \: income} = \frac{10x}{10x + 600}............(2) \\ equate \: (1) \: and \: (2) \\ \frac{10x}{11x} = \frac{10x}{10x + 600} \\ \frac{1}{11x} = \frac{1}{10x + 600} \\ 11x = 10x + 600 \\ 11x - 10x = 600 \\ x = 600 \\ so \: new \: income \: is \: 11x \: = 11 \times 600 = 6600
