Atomic mass of A is 23.

murtaza661: how
Animesh147: there are 2 atoms of chlorine and we know that mass of 1 chlorine atom is 35.5, therefore mass of 2 chlorine atoms would be 71. hence mass of A would be 94 - 71 = 23

ACl2 atomic mass = 94.
So mass of A + mass of Cl2 = Mass of ACl2 = 94
=> mass of A = 94 - mass of Cl2
As mass of Cl is 35.5 and mass of Cl2 is 71.
=> mass of A = 94-71

Therefore atomic mass of A is 23. So the Element is Sodium (Na).
Therefore the Compoud is NaCl2. It may be Hypotethical. But NaCl exists and  is an edible salt.
