Elnina is the name given to the occasional development of the warm ocean current along the coast of Peru as a temporary replacement of the cold Peru current and line of course at intervals of about 3 to 8 years . At its occurance a Remarkable disturbance in ocean and atmosphere occurs .It begins in the east Pacific Ocean and spreads its effects widely over the globe this disturbance last for more than a year bringing droughts,heavy rainfall and severe spells of heat and cold .
