Solution:-
By using this formula
→ Sn = u +a/2(2n-1)
Substitute the value we get
→ S5 = 10 + (-2)/2 (2×5 -1)
→ S5 = 10 - 1(10-1)
→ S5 = 10 -1(9)
→ S5 = 10 -9
→ S5 = 1m
∴ The distance covered by the body in 5th second is 1 metre.
