The inner and outer radii of a cylindrical pipe are 4cm and 5cm respectively.Find the area of cross section of the pipe. Use pie as 3.14 only

there is a easy formula to find the area of pipe
that is = pie (R+r)(R-r)
R = outer radius = 5 cm
r = inner radius = 4cm
apply the formula
=pie (R+r)(R-r)
=3.14 ( 5 + 4 ) ( 5 - 4 )
=3.14 (9) ( 1)
=3.14 (9)
=28.26
hence area of cross section = 28.26
