Answer:

A retired Toronto police inspector has reportedly been hired by the Sherman family as they continue to search for answers into the murder of Barry and Honey Sherman

The CBC is reporting that Doug Grady, a former unit commander who once led the Toronto Police homicide squad, will lead the Canadian arm of the family’s investigation into the killings of the billionaire couple.

Alex Krawczyk, one of the Sherman children, was not a party to the retainer of outside investigative services and Grady is not acting on her behalf.

This will be the second team of private investigators hired by the family.
