b) 5.0 m

                     cross multiply

                      I2 =36W/m²

                     At a distance of 1.0m the intensity is 36W/m²

                     I2/I1 =R1²/R2²

                     I2/4.0 =3²/5²

                     25I2 =36

                      I2 =1.44W/m²

                       At a distance of 5.0m the intensity is 1.44W/m²
