✨And reverberation is the no. of echoes produced of the original sound
✨In other words it the mutiple echoes produced

Reverberation is repetition of original sound multiple times. Thee time of reverberation is more in a closed and empty room because there is no presence of sound absorbers there. Sound absorbers absorb sound and prevent them from getting reflected .but as in a empty and closed room . As they are not present the sound gets reflected from wall . Thus we heat reflection of sound multiple times . While in a room full of various materials sound does not get reflected as sound is absorbed by number of sound absorbers .
