The internal dimensions of a lidless wooden box is 48 cm ×38 cm ×32 cm .If the thickness of tank is 1 cm , Find the volume of wood .​

External volume = 48 x 38 x 32 cubic cm

= 58368 cubic cm

Internal length = 48 - 2 = 46

Internal breadth = 38-2 = 36

Internal height = 32 - 1 = 31

internal volume = 46 x 36 x 31 cubic cm

= 51336 cubic cm

volume of wood = external volume - internal volume

volume of wood = 58368 - 51336

= 7032 cubic cm
