Answer:

For solve given equations graphically, Firstly we make value table in which we randomly keep values of one variable and we get the values of other variables. Mark these points on graph and join them. ... The Point of intersection of these two lines is the solution of given equation, which is (1, 0).

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

y=2x-2

and y=4x-4

To find:-

Find the intersecting point of the graph of the lines ?

Solution:-

Given lines are :

y = 2x-2 ----------(1)

y = 4x-4 -----------(2)

From (1) &(2)

LHS are same then RHS must be equal in both equations

=> 4x-4 = 2x-2

=> 4x-2x = -2+4

=> 2x = 2

=> x = 2/2

=> x = 1

On Substituting the value of x in (1) then

y = 2(1)-2

=> y = 2-2

=> y = 0

The point = (1,0)

It lies on the graph of the both equations.

It is a solution of the lines.

It is an Intersecting point of the lines

Answer:-

The intersecting point of the given lines is (1,0)
