Given:  the investments made by A and B are in the ratio 3:2 . 16.66% of total profit is donated .  A gets 11400

To find : Amount of total Profit

Solution:

Let say Total Profit  = 6A

Profit donated  = (16.66/100) * 6A  =  A

Remaining Profit  = 6A  - A  = 5A

Share of A  = (3/(3 + 2)) * 5A

=> Share of A   = 3A

Share of A  = 11400

=> 3A = 11400

=> A = 3800

=> 6A  = 22800

Amount of Total Profit  = 22800
