The ion that is pumped out from the cell is
1) Na
3) Both 1 and 2
2) K+
4) Mg2+

why only answer is Na+ not K+ too ? ... I need with clear explaination guys

Answer:

Na+ - because Na+ is transported outside through active transport which requires energy ( a pump in the form of proteins).

K+ is transported outside simply through diffusion, i.e, no energy is required ( and no pump).

Therefore answer is only Na+.

This happens in neurons .
