Dr. Sadao Hoki was a Japanese surgeon and he had a wife and two children. They reside near the sea coast.
Once they saw someone near the sea and there was a man who was badly injured. He fell unconscious. They realized that he was a white escaped prisoner who was sailing in American warship.
If they would give him shelter and did not inform police, then they will be termed as traitor. Hence, Dr. Sadao’s wife said that the kindest thing to do will be to put that person back into the sea.
