Given:

Kinematic viscosity = 5.58×10⁻⁴ m²/s

Specific gravity = 2

To find:

The dynamic viscosity of the liquid

Calculation:

We know that,

Specific gravity = density of liquid/density of water

=> 2 = density of liquid/1000

=> Density of liquid = 2000 kg/m³

Dynamic viscosity = Kinematic viscosity × Density of liquid

=> Dynamic viscosity = 5.58 ×10⁻⁴ × 2000

                                   = 11160 × 10⁻⁴

                                   = 1.116 N-s/m²

The dynamic viscosity of the liquid is 1.116 N-s/m²
