Explanation:

part(i)

Given:

mass of the car (m) = 10kg

speed of the car (v) = 10ms

A/Q

if speed is doubled than speed (v) = 10 X 2= 20ms

applying the formula,

KE=½mv²

KE= ½ X 10 X (20)²

KE= 5 X 400

KE= 2000J

part(ii)

Given:

mass of the car (m) = 10kg

speed of the car (v) = 10ms

A/Q

if speed is tripled than speed (v) = 10 X 3= 30ms

applying the formula,

KE=½mv²

KE= ½ X 10 X (30)²

KE= 5 X 900

KE= 4500J
