the kinetic energy of an object of mass M, moving with a velocity of 5 M per second is 255 what will be its kinetic energy when the velocity is doubled? what will be its kinetic energy when its velocity is increased three times?

255 = 1 / 2 ( M ) ( 5 ) ² ........ equation 1

E'k = 1 / 2 ( M ) ( 10 )² ......... equation 2

Dividing both the two equations.

E'k = 255 × 100 / 25

E'k = 1020 joule

E"k = 1 / 2 ( M ) ( 15 )²......... equation 2


Dividing both the two equations

E"k = 2601 joule
