Dear Student,
Solution:

1) Yes Dear, the kinetic energy of the particles is more in liquid state because the particles of solid state when heated get an increase in kinetic energy which makes the bonds of the particles of solid loose and eventually breaks the bonds. This cause the solid to change into liquid.

2) Dear, The cooling in a desert room cooler is due to the process of evaporation.Desert cooler cools better on a hot dry day because the temperature of the atmosphere increases the rate of evaporation also increases and in hot day the humidity in atmosphere is less.If humidity is less evaporation is more. This gives better cooling effect.

3) Dear, Earthen pots are porous. Water kept inside seeps out & wets the outer surface. Dry air outside helps in evaporation of this water. The latent heat of evaporation is taken from the pot & and the water inside. Thus even warm but dry air of inland tropical areas make the water cool. Desert air coolers based on the same principle are also very popular. However, these do not work effectively in coastal areas due to high humidity in air.
