x + 18 + x = 90°

2x + 18 = 90°

2x = 90 - 18

2x = 72

x = $\dfrac{72}{2}$

x = 36 °

So, smaller angle = $\boxed{36°}$

Larger angle = 36 + 18 = $\boxed{54°}$
