Let the smaller angle be x°

Then,

Larger angle = ( x + 18)°

We know that sum of supplementry angles is 180°.

So,

=> + ( x +18)° = 180°

=> 2x = 180 - 18

=> 2x = 162°

=> x = 162/2 = 81°

Hence,

Large angle = ( x + 18) = 81 + 18 = 99°

Smaller angle = x = 81°

Answer:

let small no =x

let larger angle=y

now,

x+y=180

x-y=18

now u can solve these equations by elimination method

it will be

2y=162

y=81

x-81=18

x=99

thus two angles are 99 and81
