Answer:

Given:- Perimeter = 240m, length = 90m , breadth = ?

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

240 = 2(90+b)

120 = 90 + b

b = 30m

Area = l × b

= 90 × 30

= 2700m²

Answer:

\huge\underline\mathfrak\red{question}

the perimeter of a rectangular field is 240m. if it's length is 90m.

find:-

  • it's breadth
  • it's area

\huge\underline\mathfrak\blue{Answer}

  • the perimeter of rectangle= 240m
  • length= 90m

first find the breadth of rectangle:-

=> using formula:-

perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

240= 2( 90 + b)

240= 180 + 2b

2b= 180-240

2b= 60

b= 60÷2

B= 30

==> hence the breadth of the rectangle is 30m

now find the area of rectangle:-

using formula:-

area of rectangle= (l×b)

  • length= 90m
  • breadth=30m

let's find area of rectangle:-

= 90 × 30

= 2700

hence area of rectangle is 2700m²

BREADTH= 30m

AREA OF RECTANGLE= 2700m²
