Almost 70% of the earth comprises of water.

Life is really unimaginable without water at any cost.

The largest natural source of water is none other than glaciers.

They are melting at each and every point of time thus contributing a lot in maintaining the overall level of rivers as well as dams.

Hey there !

Water has 3 major sources:

Glaciers, Ground Water and Sea water.

Sea Water has 97% abundance in the surface of earth, 1.5% by Ground water and 1.5% by Glaciers.

Since Rainwater is not available throughout the year, we dont consider it to be a major source. Also even though the sea water is abundant, the water is unfit for drinking.

Hence the major source would be glaciers as they even after melting result in ground water and during freezed form can provide continuous form of water.

Hope my answer helped !
