The largest triangle is inscribed in a semi-circle of radius 7 cm. Find the area

inside the semi-circle which is not occupied by triangle.​

Answer:

area of ∆ = ½ b × h

= ½ × 14 × 7

= 49cm²

area of a semicircle = ½ (π r²)

= ½ (22/7 × 7 × 7)

= ½ × 154

= 77cm²

Therefore,

the area leftout will be = (77 - 49)cm²

= 18cm²
