(1) \:  \:  \:  {2}^{9}  =  \\ 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \\  = 4 \times 4 \times 4 \times4 \times  2 \\  = 16 \times 16 \times  2 \\ = 6 \times 6 \times 2 \\  = 36 \times 2 \\  = 6 \times 2 \\  = 12 \\ unit \: digit \:  = 2
and

(2) \:  \:  \:  {5}^{135}  \\  as \: we \: know \: that \: any \: number \:  \\ if \: multiply \: by \: five \: the \: unit \:  \\ digit \: is \: found \: to \: be \: 5 \\  \\ so \:  {5}^{135}  = \\ unit \: digit \:   = 5
