Here is your answer -

Given - Lateral Surface area of cuboid - 300cm²

Length breadth and height are in a ratio of 4: 2: 1 respectively.

To find - The length, The breadth and the height.

Calculation -

Let the actual Length be 4x, actual breadth be 2x and height be 1x

LSA of Cuboid - 2h(L+b)

(LSA means the area of the four walls excluding the top and base)

Therefore,

2× 1x ( 4x + 2x) = 300

2x ( 6x) = 300

12x² = 300

x² = \frac{300}{12}

x² = 25

Thus,

x = √25 => 5cm

Now substitute 5cm in x to get the length, breadth and height.

Thus,

Length = 4x = 4(5) = 20 cm

Breadth - 2x = 2(5) = 10 cm

Height - 1x = 1(5) = 5 cm

Hope it helps!
