the lateral surface area of a hollow cylinder is 1188 CM squareit is cut along its height to obtain a rectangle find the perimeter of the rectangle if height of the cylinder is 44 CM​

Answer:

curved surface area of cylinder is 1188cm^2..

height is 44 cm..

2\pi \: rh \:  =  \: 1188 \\ 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times r \times 44 = 1188

r is 4.29 cm

if we cut and open the cylinder

then the breadth of rectangle will be equal to diameter..

so the breadth is 8.58 cm..

the perimeter of rectangle is 2(l+b)

2(44+5.58) = 105.16 cm
