Answer:

it is given that a hollow cylinder is cut to form a rectangular sheet so area of sheet must be equal to the lateral surface area of cylinder

so CSA of cylinder = area of rectangular sheet

it is given on question that CSA of cylinder is 5000

so

5000= length× breath

it is given that the width of the sheet is 50 cm

so 5000= length × 50

shifting 50 on LHS

5000/50 = length

after dividing we get length as 100 cm

now we know that the length of sheet is 100 cm and breadth is 50cm.

applying formula 2×(length+breadth) to find perimeter.

2×(100+50)

2×(150)

300 cm

so the final answer of question is

the perimeter of the rectangular sheet is 300 cm

hope it helps
