n  = 20 if  LCM (24,n)= 120 and HCF(24,n) =4

Step-by-step explanation:

as LCM can not be less  than  numbers

hence there is mistake in data

Assume data is as below

Given  Two numbers

24  & n

LCM of numbers = 120

HCF of numbers = 4

as we know

LCM * HCF  = number 1 * number 2

=> 120 * 4  = 24 * n

=>  n  = 20

Verification :

Numbers are 24  & 20

24  = 2 * 2 * 2 * 3

20 = 2 * 2 * 5

HCF = 2 * 2 = 4

LCM = 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 * 5  = 120
