LCM of two numbers = 27

HCF of two numbers = 1

one number = 3

other number = ?

\fbox\blue{LCM×HCF\:=\:PRODUCT\:OF\:TWO\:NUMBERS}

  • 27 × 1 = 3 × a
  • a = 27/3
  • a = 9

hence, the other number will be

ANSWER

For two numbers a and b, we know that

(a×b)=HCFof(a,b)×LCMof(a,b)

Here,

a=3,HCF=1 ,LCM=27

Therefore,

(3×b)=(1×27)

3b= 27

b= 27/3= 9

Hence, the other number is 9.
